Why Should Nu Skin be not seen as a Scam

As mentioned throughout this blog, Nu Skin is a publicly traded company in the New York Stock Exchange. In order for any company to be publicly traded, it must have passed innumerable accountability standards.

Nu Skin has a 27-year track record without any findings of illegal or unethical practices.

It continues to span the globe, increasing their markets across continents, and steadily increasing the number of their distributors.

Bottom line…

There is NO Nu Skin Scam. Other than those attacking the MLM industry as a whole, the other people proclaiming a Nu Skin scam are those who joined the business but have failed in the business. It is said to be true that 95-97% of the people who joined an MLM home-based business will fail. But the only reason people fail in this industry is because they lack marketing skills and they give up on the business entirely.

If you’re thinking about joining Nu Skin, you must realize that although it’s not a scam, there’s a probability that you may fail just like the others who cry out and blame the “Nu Skin Scam”.

Your success in Nu Skin will be determined by your ability to brand yourself, generate leads and prospects for your business on a consistent basis, and market your business effectively through one-to-one personal contact.

If you’re serious about being successful in Nu Skin or any MLM home-based business, then it’s vital for you to get the knowledge and skills that allow you to personally sponsor 5-10 reps a month, so that you don’t have to go around screaming “Nu Skin Scam”.

Why NuSkin is accused as a Scam?

Well, let’s see. Nu Skin was founded in 1984, operates in three continents in over 50 markets and currently has nearly 800,000 distributors.

Not only that, it is a publicly traded company in the New York Stock Exchange. In order to accomplish that, do realize that this company has passed more scrutiny, and checks and balances compared to when you walk through the body scanner at the airport. So to say it clearly, there is no Nu Skin scam, gimmick, fraud, pyramid or whatever else you may hear.

So who’s saying that it is?

Let’s talk about what this company is before we go into the scam allegations. Nu Skin was found by a brother and sister team, Blake & Nedra Roney. They have an extensive product line consisting of personal care products, with an emphasis on skin care.

One of their hot ticket items is the Nu Skin Galvanic Spa, which is touted as being cheaper than a professional facial. Now it sounds like a complicated contraption but it has revolutionized the beauty industry and many women rave about it.

Network marketing or multi-level marketing (MLM) has been the target of many for decades. Indeed many MLM companies fail because of low-quality, overpriced products, and lackluster management. As a result, the entire business model of MLM gets blamed and is often called a scam.

What you should know is that the scam allegation has already been discredited decades ago by numerous courts of other countries, even the U.S.A.. The business model of MLM is NOT a scam.

It simply means that people are paid for selling the company’s products while also earning commissions/bonuses from the sales generated by anyone they introduced to the company. So it creates a downline or levels of various compensation. Hence the term muli-level marketing.

It’s no different than when you had a great meal at a restaurant, told your friends of how excellent the food and service was, and because of your recommendation, your friends go eat at that same restaurant. Of course, the restaurant won’t pay you because they made money from your recommendation. But in MLM, the company will. Clearly, there is no reason to call the MLM system a scam, the same way as franchising was perceived to be a scam decades ago.

Their competitive advantage starts from its uniqueness, innovativeness and quest for constant improvement. “Difference Demonstrated” has been the Company’s direction and slogan. And Nu Skin actually walks the talk.

Their quality process enables to identify, validate, and manufacture the most effective and safest products.

Nu Skin has worked with Stanford University since 1999 and they collaborate on studies dealing with anti-aging, developmental biology, and dermatological research that supports the company’s unique anti-aging strategy to target the sources of aging. Nu Skin Capitalizes in Anti-aging

Nu Skin is a highly misunderstood business here in the Philippines. Just the notion of "networking" or MLM immediately turn people off without knowing what the business truly aims for, or perhaps, what opportunity they really share to those who are willing to give it a try.

The Nu Skin business primarily capitalizes in aging, and exactly what does aging mean to you? To some, aging may mean a decline in productivity. It may also mean leisure and an enjoyable retirement life to others, or for youngsters, something far beyond their imagination. In any case, aging – at least chronicle aging – is not reversible, and most of us don’t want to lose the youthful skin and healthy body along in the process. So, what does aging mean to me? It is fundamentally a Business Opportunity.

Nu Skin is an anti-aging business and time is on your side. Imagine that you are the owner of the only highway into the city. Each and every car that enters the city must pay you a fee. Wouldn’t it be nice to just sit there and collect money when that is the only route? That is what the anti-aging business means because time is irreversible and it leads people into an aging process whether we like it or not. The market is driving itself onto you, instead of you finding it, developing it, and digging into it. In this case, time is on your side.

And when it comes to a business plan, Nu Skin offers the highest commission pay out amongst all listed network marketing companies. You have the maximum leverage power.

Nu Skin Philippines is about Leadership

Nu Skin enforces leadership both to its corporate structure and its distributors locally and globally. Regardless of what negative attacks are thrown at the company's distributors, Nu Skin management makes sure that the business is always done the right way. And just what these distributors are taught and encouraged to do? They network, discuss business building strategies, collaborate, communicate, and develop personal relationships based on a common interest, success in Nu Skin business as their own.

In this global industry, distributors are surely driven (like in any business) to meet a lot of people. Being an effective leader is a function of whether our values, our intentions, and our actions merit the trust of others. While knowing (a function of competency) and doing (a function of execution) are important, the latter of the two traits is irrelevant if it is performed on a platform void of character. And the real magic happens when a company finds itself in a position to benefit from the value of all three characteristics: values-based leadership combined with high levels of competency, and excellence in execution for an efficient position in the marketplace. This is what distributors of Nu Skin do, and what they aim for. They are leaders who play the fluid nature of the industry in a levelled playing field, they are not out to scam, nor to deceive. They do what all good business leaders shoot for.

Nu Skin Proves Benefits of Positive Corporate Culture

I've worked with this company for several years now, and one of the most outstanding aspects of the Nu Skin success story are the people who are committed to making a difference. These are none other than the Nu Skin employees who foster our giving culture, which promotes loyalty, integrity, innovation, and optimistic work environment. From the newest hire to the company’s founders, Nu Skin employees demonstrate their difference every day by demonstrating themselves to be the force for good culture.

In the media news, last December 2010, Utah Business Magazine named Nu Skin as a “Best Company to Work For” in the larger company category; for two consecutive years now. Nu Skin was highlighted for its generous employee benefits and its uplifting, enriching culture that unites its worldwide employee and workforce.

Here in the Philippines, Nu Skin sponsors feeding programs in various depressed areas in the country through Feed the Children Philippines. Armed with VitaMeal donated by distributors (the people who actually call and "invite" you for the business opportunity), the condition of malnourished children is addressed through the feeding program. The company goes hand in hand with its distributors in continuously raising funds to help support children under CHILD Foundation who suffer from heart ailments. Aside from helping support their heart operation, Nu Skin also helps raise funds to purchase equipment needed by the young patients.

The corporate ethics of Nu Skin, and Nu Skin Philippines for that matter, surpasses any industry practice its competitors in the field may do. Not only are good ethics and business practices expected from their distributors, but also from the management and employees themselves. Beyond expected, it is enforced and demonstrated at any given time.

Just Why it Pays in trusting Nu Skin

In 2010, Nu Skin had staggering revenues of US$1.53 billion globally. This is a company that believes the payoff to their direct sellers should always be huge. And fact is, Nu Skin leaders envision the company to be “the most successful direct-selling business in the world by paying more commissions than any other company.”

If you really must know, Nu Skin pays as much as a 43-percent commission to its distributors worldwide. In fact, in 2009 alone, the company paid its many business partners a total of $551 million for all their direct-selling work well done. And in the Philippines, it is reported that as much as P1 billion has already been paid out to about 7,000 distributors in the country since Nu Skin started its operations here in 1998.

Suffice to say, when you’re a Nu Skin “business partner,” Nu Skin believes that becoming a millionaire can readily happen. The rewards that money can buy can be all yours and more. In fact, Nu Skin distributors really get more with what they are able to accomplish in their personal lives beyond just growing their own business. After all, these direct sellers get a hold of some of the best skincare and healthcare products in the world, which they also try and enjoy for themselves. A win-win situation entirely.

What sets Nu Skin "Different"

Truth of the matter, Nu Skin is a global brand with a global statement to make. Headquartered in Provo, Utah, this multinational firm with a will and a heart has so far extended its sales and operations to as many as 48 countries across the world. They attribute their success to one defining factor: their difference, and Nu Skin prides itself on being the only company with “The difference, demonstrated.”

Nu Skin Vice President for Distributor Success, Dan Chard states, "Nu Skin is different because we can demonstrate how we are different from the rest of the products throughout the world”. Chard further explains that the Nu Skin difference is seen in four things: its people, its products, its business opportunity, and its culture.

Nu Skin's one corporate trait is that it believes greatly in its people, which includes 8,700 employees and as many as 800,000 direct sellers throughout the world. These direct sellers are all professionals who personally market and offer various Nu Skin products in their home country and even abroad. During the first-ever Nu Skin Southeast Asia SeedPower Regional Convention held in Genting Highlands, Malaysia, the Nu Skin President for Southeast Asia Melisa Tantoco – Quijano also boldly proclaimed an ultimate goal: to Go Double by 2010. And if you think that goal only amounts to a couple hundred millions, think again. This is a small peek of how much the company boasts in legitimate values and revenue.

Nu Skin President South East Asia is awarded Best Asian Executive by International "Stevie" Awards

15th Floor Ocatgon Bldg houses Nu Skin Philippines, and just recently, Nu Skin President of the Southeast Asia Region Melisa Tantoco-Quijano was awarded Best Asian Executive by the 2010 International Stevie Awards for Women in Business. To emphasize, the particular awards recognize the accomplishments of outstanding women executives, business owners and the organizations they run. Under Melisa’s leadership, the Southeast Asian region has become a center of Nu Skin and is currently the fastest growing region for the company. This also exemplifies the Nu Skin culture through Quijano's unyielding commitment to supporting local sales leaders, as well as her long-standing dedication to the Southeast Asia Children's Heart Fund. Overseeing six countries, more than 300 employees and nearly 4,000 executive distributors, Quijano led Southeast Asia to a strong year in 2009, generating $109 million in revenue. In addition to her sharp business acumen, Quijano also serves as an honorary board member of the Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Foundation of Thailand, a board member of the CHILD Foundation in the Philippines and board member of the Southeast Asia Children's Heart Fund.

This company humbly presents the fact that more than 1,200 nominations were submitted to the International Stevie Awards for Women in Business this year, and such recognition of a Filipino industry leader can't prove enough Nu Skin's genuine dedication and commitment to its core values. Many people remain skeptic about this company despite the facts, but one can just wonder why. Research is key. Credibility is key. Facts change the rules of the game. So here is the research. Here is the credibility. Think and see for yourself.

What the Corporate People really do behind Nu Skin Philippines

Negative attacks are pointed towards the nature of 15th Flr Octagton Bldg that interpret that the company is allegedly soliciting unprofessional ways of ‘inviting’ and scamming random people. Sure, there are a few rotten tomatoes out there that unfortunately do the business the wrong way, but Nu Skin does ways that these are dealt with accordingly. Such accusations are obviously present in the light of the negative stereotype that the Philippines view the MLM business. It is undeniable though, that other fly by night companies do practice deceit and scam in exchange of short term sales, but Nu Skin and the caliber of business practice and products they have is definitely not part of it. It is unfortunate that some distributors put the company in a bad light, but the fact of it is that the company not only encourages its people to be professional, but requires it explicitly.

Nu Skin’s corporate management, trains and guides their distributors to do business the right and legitimate way…all the way. And they may be responsible for what their sales arm reflects upon them, but it is not fair enough to lay down verdict negatively towards it as a whole. That is my opinion, from what I have seen, experienced, and have personally done.

Why Do they Call You?

The Answer in plain view, and the fact behind the assumptions when somebody from 15th floor Octagon bldg calls you in the middle of the day. They say they are seeking business partners, a few motivated and entrepreneurial people with open minds who are serious about achieving an income and lifestyle that most people only dream about. Actually, it's not a lie. Believe it or not, that is the plain truth behind it.

There are no requirements for a specific business, nor a sales background is needed. The company, Nu Skin Philippines, has developed new systems and technology that enable focused men and women, not just sales people to enjoy the benefits of entrepreneurship while avoiding the downside risks.

Take time to investigate, find out why these men and women bother to talk to you, instead of ranting about it. Find out how you can affiliate yourself with an elite group of professionals with a proven plan of action. Find out if you qualify: that's the only key principle behind these "invites" and calls from people at the 15th floor Octagon bldg.

What does this company do?

Exactly by definition, what is Nu Skin Philippines? Nu Skin brings consumers of the world state-of-the-art anti-aging products. They do this through access to advances in science, the selection of superior ingredients, and their ability to target individualized consumer needs. Most of all, they partner with highly trained and motivated global sales force (distributors) to provide consumers with results-driven products, service, and business opportunities. The Asian Market Nu Skin Philippines, Inc. commenced operations last February 5, 1998, with an overwhelming response from thousands of Filipinos who signed up as distributors. Nu Skin Philippines, a subsidiary of Nu Skin Enterprises, is the 6th market in Asia and the 23rd of the 50 markets worldwide It is now recognized as one of the companies that provide an exceptional line of products to consumers, far-reaching opportunities, and the most effective support to its distributors.

Currently, Nu Skin Philippines Corporate Office is located at the 15th Floor Octagon Bldg, Ortigas Center, one of the major business centers in the country. Three (3) Walk-in Centers are operational in Metro Manila key areas – Pasig, Makati – in 26th Floor Trafalgar Plaza, HV Dela Costa St. and in Alabang – 2nd Floor, BC Group Center. Filinvest Avenue. These centers are equipped with conference rooms for training and other distributor activities. Complementing the company’s development, the Cebu, Iloilo and Pampanga Walk-in Centers are also open to serve distributors in those areas. The availability of these Walk-in Centers provideslimitless opportunities to its distributors.

Open the Mind to the Truth

You are now seeing this blog, for one big reason: because you want to know the truth about what's been the subject of all the hearsays about 15th floor Octagon Bldg, and because you’re searching for more facts about the subject. Viewing the archives of this blog site, you will notice numerous posts about what is it that people seem to talk confused about what’s in this office, in 15th Floor Octagon Bldg in Pasig City, and 26th Floor Trafalgar Plaza in Makati. Redundantly and as to re-affirm, that company is Nu Skin and concurrently Pharmanex Philippines. For more than 25 years, Nu Skin has been developing products and resources in hopes for a better and promising future for millions around the world. Established in 1984 in the United States with a promise and commitment of producing and distributing skin care and health products made only from highly researched and rare ingredients.

Long before society has embraced antihistamines and antioxidants, Nu Skin has already been dedicating itself into developing breakthroughs’ in premium and truly healthy skin care products. And through two (2) of its product lines, Nu Skin contributes greatly to both humanitarian and individual entrepreneurship efforts: Through the Nu Skin Scientific Advisory Board — innovators in the fields of dermatology, ethnobotany, and nutritional and cosmetic sciences — they develop products that benefit from some of the most advanced ingredient technologies available today; And through its Force for Good Foundation, they have brought countless humanitarian and non-profit feeding to millions of malnourished children globally.

15th Floor Octagon Building - the real ethics practiced by the company

What's in 15th Floor Octagon Bldg is Nu Skin Enterprises Philippines office and is already in the 12th year in the industry. 12 years for a multinational company is a pretty hard record to beat for something to be labeled as a “scam”, particularly here in the Philippines. Nu Skin Philippines is operating at the 15th Floor Octagon Bldg, in Ortigas Center, Pasig City. A subject of negative allegations and false speculations, Nu Skin Philippines actually carry 12 years worth of success in the following principle they practice. One of the principal ways that Nu Skin demonstrates its difference is through high-caliber people. This includes the global network of nearly 800,000 active distributors. The corporate office encourages their distributors to not only strive for continued growth in their business pursuits, but also in every aspect of their lives. When they say “encourage distributors”, it means to constantly look for ways to grow and develop, they become the kind of leaders who can overcome hurdles, inspire others and enjoy success.

That’s why, from the moment Nu Skin started, the central mission has been to improve people’s lives. Everything they do—from scientifically substantiated products to unique corporate culture and dynamic business opportunity—is meant to empower people to improve life for themselves and those around them. This focus on personal development has always been, and will always be, vital to their growth as a company. Simply implying, that the corporate is responsible for their distributors and that they would not risk such position in the industry in trade for deceit and scam.

Nu Skin's Sincere Beginnings

From its founding 25 years ago, Nu Skin Enterprises’ mission has been to improve people’s lives—through quality products, rewarding business opportunities, and an uplifting and enriching culture. In their non-profit Force For Good Foundation alone, Nu Skin has demonstrated how they were able to achieve this mission of improving lives in a global scale. Twenty five (25) years of hard and credible work didn’t take over night, and they’ve started from humble beginnings:

In a 1993 convention speech, Blake Roney, chairman and co-founder of Nu Skin Enterprises, used the phrase “force for good” as he shared his vision of how he wanted the company, its distributors, and employees to be known around the world. This phrase articulated the company’s values and has become the central theme of the company’s overall mission and philanthropic efforts. The original“force for good” campaign was introduced in conjunction with the Nu Skin Epoch® product line in 1996. This unique brand of skin and hair care products was developed in partnership with the world’s leading ethnobotanists—scientists who study the relationship between plants and indigenous cultures. A donation of 25 cents from the sale of each Epoch product is directed to preserve the environments, languages, lifestyles, and traditions of indigenous people around the world.

Not long after, Nu Skin Enterprises saw the need to formalize its philanthropic endeavors by creating an official foundation. The Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation was chartered to emphasize support for children, and continued to be funded from Nu Skin Epoch product donations. The Foundation is committed to making a difference for thousands, if not millions, of children for generations to come.

For the last 25 years, I believe Nu Skin proved their credibility to the world time and again, and I see no point why Filipinos would doubt them simply because of misinformation, often times, misunderstanding and misjudgment. Many are quick to be cynical by reading negative qualms, but how many truly looked the other way? By openly looking for the real facts, that Nu Skin is a legitimate and credible business for the past 25 years.

What sets Nu Skin apart?

Nu Skin (or Nu Skin Philippines for this matter) is simply a vehicle for one to achieve two essential Freedoms: Time & Financial. The kind of freedom that is available to everybody, but somehow restricted to those who are willing to do whatever it takes to achieve it. Nu Skin offers one the chance, an opportunity, to make a person's life better. As employment is another vehicle, so is business. So why should Nu Skin's practice of business be any different? because in this ever changing world, traditional business may not always be quite palatable. Traditional businesses would require 100% of one’s own effort whilst Nu Skin offers the opportunity to cope with the fast changing world and still take advantage of the world’s readily available market. Saturation would always be a looming discouragement in thought, but it is only applicable to those who believe that the world is flat, or at least to those who are skeptic to themselves, the company, the products or in the idea of innovation.

Nu Skin, operating locally in the Philippines at 15th Floor Octagon Bldg, Pasig, is far from a scam others have been throwing at. A company of this kind can’t go wrong in 48 markets.

Nu Skin implements 21 years old and above sign-up for its new members

Many say that Nu Skin accepts or sanctions members and distributors that are still in their teens. Truth is, company implements a strict 21 years old and above signing up. The independent Distributors are at the front-end of the business nature of Nu Skin and corporate management maintains a protocol that sees to it that its policies and procedures are professionally executed at all times. Sure, anybody and everybody can be an independent distributor of the company if they wished to, provided they present legal and valid requirements. These are rules by Nu Skin to make explicitly sure that new distributors do the business legitimately and professionally. They are trained to handle it as their personal businesses and to never elude to a scam-like manner. Company policies and procedures are strictly applied like any other companies and corporations worldwide, and above all they practice moral codes of both (personal and business) ethics that the company compulsory teaches each of their new Distributors if they are to be made the sales arms of the company. They are deliberately trained not to deceive both customers and prospective business partners, otherwise, the company will risk its credibility it has been maintaining.

Negative attacks are pointed towards the nature of 15th Flr. Octagon Bldg that interpret that the company is allegedly harboring under aged, teenagers, to do their business. Sure, there are a few rotten tomatoes out there that unfortunately do the business the wrong way, but Nu Skin does ways that these are dealt with accordingly. Such accusations are obviously present in the light of the negative stereotype that the Philippines view the network marketing business. It is unfortunate that some distributors put the company in a bad light, but the fact of it is that the company not only encourages its people to be professional, but requires it explicitly.

Nu Skin and Skin care - what do they really do and say

Curious for facts about what kind of company does really operate at the 15th Floor Octagon Bldg or 26th Floor Trafalgar Plaza, that calls you or people you know and leaves you puzzled on what exactly do they do? It's Nu Skin Philippines. And Nu Skin means NUTRITION for the SKIN, simply. It started as a personal care company, and not as a cosmetic company. Basically, it is in the skincare business and they always make it a point that everybody is knowledgeable about their products. And by skin care, Nu Skin Philippines stresses the following ethics for both its customers and distributors. Understand that Nu Skin promotes not just beautiful skin but also long-term healthy skin. It is not intended to be a “quick fix” regimen. When people switch brands, reactions may be natural. A reaction is simply an initial response to beneficial ingredients; just as a meat eater would react to veggies in the beginning. For people who have used oil-based products that clog the pores, this may be a detoxification period to rid the skin of toxins and deep-seated dirt. Now, these are just quick tips on how the company involves itself in the skin care industry.

Some facts on how their distributors address skin issues for their customers before recommending or selling their products:

People who do the Nu Skin business, the distributors, are not dermatologists, and people with extreme conditions are always encouraged to consult physicians as they are not medicinal - only nutritional. They always ask for history of usage of other brands of skin care. People who have been using products containing hydroquinone, antibiotics and steroids should rest their skin for 3-4 weeks before they can use any Nu Skin product for their face.

They never fail to ask if they had recently undergone dermabrasion or other skin peeling treatments (these treatments drastically lower the skin’s natural immunity and will make the skin super-sensitive). They always identify the skin type of their clients since not all products are suitable to all skin types. Nu Skin products are highly concentrated with no fillers, therefore, a small amount is all you need for the entire face (pea size). Too much may be too rich in a humid environment.

This is how detailed and meticulous they are in managing their brands, products, and credibility. Many people misunderstand the Nu Skin business as either a scam or a bogus skin care line of products. But always, by facts and real client / customer testimonials, are proven otherwise.

Real People and Service behind 15th Floor Octagon Bldg

Admittedly, people do get ‘wrongly invited’ and/or “persuaded” by those working in at 15th flr. Octagon Bldg in Ortigas Center, Pasig City, that almost likely seems to generate negative perception towards not only to those who experience such unfortunate undertakings, but eventually to the company itself which is Nu Skin Enterprises Philippines, Inc. The company, in fairness but not in its biased defense, never did deny the fact that they are a network marketing/direct selling company, nor did they ever solicit illegal ways and scams to communicate and treat their clients, customers, business partners, in ways that would deliberately discredit their more than 2 decades-long global operations. I know for a fact, because I have seen it, and have been part of it personally. My credibility as an individual may be vague by stating these things, but I would declare that my words on such matters are more than opinions, rather, a better judgment on a subject I personally see as a quite fair enough assessment based on not only factual information readily available, but also by the personal involvement I have experienced.

The independent Distributors are at the front-end of the business nature of Nu Skin, but rest assured, corporate management maintains protocols that sees to it that its policies and procedures are professionally executed at all times. Sure, anybody and everybody can be an independent distributor of the company if they wish to (providing legal and valid requirements), but trainings for its new distributors are conducted by the company itself or by international Nu Skin business leaders. These trainings are conducted for by Nu Skin to make explicitly sure that new distributors do the business legitimately and professionally. They are deliberately trained not to deceive both customers and prospective business partners, otherwise, the company would be risking its credibility it has been maintaining (specially in a level of moral high ground). Not only does corporate involvement end after training its new distributors, but Account Managers are positioned closely and constantly to assist, monitor, and support active distributors. Not only do they provide support in the technical aspects of the business procedures, but they see to it that the business is done the right way and maintain professionalism in the field. Corporate Support is not limited to its distributors but also extends to customers’ needs and immediate concerns. And all these are done through a systematic standard operating procedure that is readily available virtually 24/7 and within the maximum use of current available technology.

Now this may all sound a hard sell and obvious defense of the company’s practices, but as I have stated, I am making such judgments because I have personally witnessed it. Negative attacks are pointed towards the nature of 15th Flr Octagon Bldg that interpret that the company is allegedly soliciting unprofessional ways of ‘inviting’ and scamming random people. Sure, there are a few rotten tomatoes out there that unfortunately do the business the wrong way, but Nu Skin does ways that these are dealt with accordingly. Such accusations are obviously present in the light of the negative stereotype that the Philippines view the MLM business. It is undeniable though, that other “ fly- by- night” companies do practice deceit and scam in exchange for short term sales, but Nu Skin and the caliber of business practice and products they have is definitely not part of it. It is unfortunate that some distributors put the company in a bad light, but the fact of it is that the company not only encourages its people to be professional, but requires it explicitly.

The sad matter is that, we are having these kinds of arguments, because of the people who did not give the chance to look at the business personally, and that some distributors’ unfortunate lapses in doing the business. But if one would be able to see it for themselves, at 15th flr. Octagon Bldg, Nu Skin’s head office and their primary Walk-in centers, people are greeted warmly there. The staffs are friendly, professional, and ready to assist and serve. They are real people, much like you and me, and it is always unfortunate that misunderstandings lead to negative judgments.
