Nu Skin Proves Benefits of Positive Corporate Culture

I've worked with this company for several years now, and one of the most outstanding aspects of the Nu Skin success story are the people who are committed to making a difference. These are none other than the Nu Skin employees who foster our giving culture, which promotes loyalty, integrity, innovation, and optimistic work environment. From the newest hire to the company’s founders, Nu Skin employees demonstrate their difference every day by demonstrating themselves to be the force for good culture.

In the media news, last December 2010, Utah Business Magazine named Nu Skin as a “Best Company to Work For” in the larger company category; for two consecutive years now. Nu Skin was highlighted for its generous employee benefits and its uplifting, enriching culture that unites its worldwide employee and workforce.

Here in the Philippines, Nu Skin sponsors feeding programs in various depressed areas in the country through Feed the Children Philippines. Armed with VitaMeal donated by distributors (the people who actually call and "invite" you for the business opportunity), the condition of malnourished children is addressed through the feeding program. The company goes hand in hand with its distributors in continuously raising funds to help support children under CHILD Foundation who suffer from heart ailments. Aside from helping support their heart operation, Nu Skin also helps raise funds to purchase equipment needed by the young patients.

The corporate ethics of Nu Skin, and Nu Skin Philippines for that matter, surpasses any industry practice its competitors in the field may do. Not only are good ethics and business practices expected from their distributors, but also from the management and employees themselves. Beyond expected, it is enforced and demonstrated at any given time.

Just Why it Pays in trusting Nu Skin

In 2010, Nu Skin had staggering revenues of US$1.53 billion globally. This is a company that believes the payoff to their direct sellers should always be huge. And fact is, Nu Skin leaders envision the company to be “the most successful direct-selling business in the world by paying more commissions than any other company.”

If you really must know, Nu Skin pays as much as a 43-percent commission to its distributors worldwide. In fact, in 2009 alone, the company paid its many business partners a total of $551 million for all their direct-selling work well done. And in the Philippines, it is reported that as much as P1 billion has already been paid out to about 7,000 distributors in the country since Nu Skin started its operations here in 1998.

Suffice to say, when you’re a Nu Skin “business partner,” Nu Skin believes that becoming a millionaire can readily happen. The rewards that money can buy can be all yours and more. In fact, Nu Skin distributors really get more with what they are able to accomplish in their personal lives beyond just growing their own business. After all, these direct sellers get a hold of some of the best skincare and healthcare products in the world, which they also try and enjoy for themselves. A win-win situation entirely.
